Jon Yuzwenko Biography
Jon has always had a passion for health and fitness and excelled at baseball and football growing up. Although most of his free time was spent playing sports or riding his mountain bike, he struggled to maintain a healthy balance within his body. He ended up 75lbs overweight and unhappy.
After years of battling his weight, Jon made the change at the age of 17 towards improving his health. He began to educate himself on living a healthier lifestyle, and after 18 months of balanced eating and regular exercise, he lost the majority of his weight. He took his passion to the next level by completing the N.A.I.T Personal Fitness Trainer Diploma program, where he learned the necessary skills to be able to help clients of all backgrounds.
Keeping his own personal weight loss and lifestyle changes in mind, Jon established Kinetix Personal Training Ltd. in 2007 out of a passion for helping people achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. Through continuing education courses and countless hours of Personal Training his methods have evolved over the years but his philosophy has stayed the same. Making the decision to improve your quality of life through Personal Training is a total lifestyle approach and requires the commitment on multiple levels regardless of how big or small your goals are.
His ambitious nature led him to the Water Garden project and the one of a kind opportunity was anything less than irresistible. With so many unique therapies and approaches under one roof, the Water Garden will be able to offer a new kind of total lifestyle approach never seen before and ensure client success.
Jon enjoys rock climbing, snowboarding, and backcountry hiking, as well as taking up new and challenging activities. In 2009, team Kinetix participated in the Ride to Conquer Cancer and raised $10,000 towards Cancer research. In 2010 he completed the Melissa's 22km Road Race and will be competing in the 2011 Death Race in Grande Cache.
